Dear Valued Empire Lounge & Sydney Seaplanes customer,

From 23 October 2020, New South Wales state declares venues can now seat 1 person every 2 square metres in outdoor dining areas and 1 person per 4 square metres indoors, whilst maintaining social distancing rules. Empire Lounge is now open for bookings of up to 30 guests. Table bookings are 2 hours. Large bookings may require a deposit payment which will be deducted from your final bill on the day. Bookings over 20 guests are considered an event where a minimum spend applies. Exclusive hire events may be up to 70 guests. Customers must be seated – no standing permitted by law, therefore currently, we cannot offer cocktail style events.

From 24 July 2020, New South Wales state declares venues can now seat 1 person every 4 square metres whilst maintaining social distancing rules. Empire Lounge can hold up to 65 guests at once. Empire Lounge will be open for bookings of up to 10 only at this stage. Exclusive hire events may be up to 65 guests. All events are seated with no standing therefore currently, we cannot offer a cocktail style event.

By law, all customers must sign in. We have set up an easy to use QR code scan. This is visible upon entry to Empire Lounge. Ask your waiter if you did not sign in upon entering the building. We must have record of you to contact you if there is an outbreak of Covid-19 linked to our venue.

 

From 5 June 2020, New South Wales state declares venues can now seat up to 50 guests at once, maintaining social distancing rules. Empire Lounge will be open for bookings of up to 10 only at this stage.

 

On 15 May 2020, New South Wales state begins Stage 1 of relaxing government restrictions. Venues can now serve food for up to 10 guests at once. Empire Lounge will be open to the public for groups of 10 only at this stage.

 

On 22 March 2020, the Federal Government released a notice that all non-essential services such as restaurants and bars are to close.
